Gallowhur House

The Gallowhur House was completed in 1952. In the 19th century, there were 3 buildings on the site now occupied by this one house. Those three buildings were removed to make room for a large Tudor-style home, which in turn was torn down because of structural issues.  The current house was designed by New York architect Mott B. Schmidt.
